the satisfactions disappear from previous human 
arrangements and arrangements [sic ]. It’s like 
eating a good meal in five minutes. The food may 
get better and better, but the rim spin of the 
transaction makes it inedible.

Any system, or any configuration of any 
components whatever, collapse when subjected 
to new speed-up. Ordinary speed-up simply 
creates obsolescence. More intense forms create 
war itself.
